Forgotten Dreams

Now On Exhibit At Monat Gallery - Madrid, Spain

So this is pretty exciting news: From May 27th - to June 27th I will have two of my paintings featured in an exhibit at Monat Gallery in Madrid, Spain.

What else can I say? Am I freaking out a little? Yes.

See, there are some very talented artists from around the globe being exhibited at Monat. Many of these artists have some pretty impressive pedigrees’, and awards to their names. So true confession: it’s a real ego boost to be exhibiting alongside many of them!

So I may be suffering from a teeny bit of Imposters Syndrome… but I’m quickly getting over it!

Below is the official press release for the exhibit for your reading pleasure.

The four paintings currently held at Monat Gallery are available for sale online on Artsy.net - please share this link with anyone you think might appreciate them.

And if you want to share on Social Media that would also be amazing!

More soon… Cheers!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

MONAT Gallery is pleased to present the Forgotten Realities exhibition, an important collective exhibition featuring different international artists. Focusing on their most recent works, the exhibition runs from May 27th to June 27th, 2022, presenting a unique experience at the Gallery.

The selected works weave an oneiric landscape that bears to the personal, collective, and cultural influence of those who came before. There is a tenuous line between post memory and nostalgia.

The exhibition is arranged by themes suggested by the artworks themselves including personal narratives, social and cultural references. Through their work, the artists in this exhibition search, doubt, and reflect on the representation of truths related to individual and collective memory —ultimately attempting to make sense of their own life.

Through the power of abstraction, the Forgotten Realities exhibition holds an intimate space in which to honor life and human transcendence, the (re)creation of memories based on fiction or dubious truths, building a path between memories and present times.

Featured in this exhibition:
Agnes Toth, Alexandra Westermark, Arjeta Mala, Belinha Silva, Cathy Ghyoot, Conie Senac, Dan Harnett, Darko Lesjak, Garrick Arnold, Jonathan Le Roux, Karen Chappelow, Kari Veastad, Karifurava, Kathrin Broden, Loreto Beatriz Arce, Mara Torres León, Michael Mihangel, Miu Shinoda, Nathalie Noe Adam, Nicola Heim, Paulie X, Roanne O ́donell, Sandrine Langlade Sonja Kalb, Susana Casillas, Veronica Villareal Sada
