Enso Over Chaos #02
ENSŌ Over Chaos #02 is an abstract painting on a 30” x 30” canvas.
This is a singular painting based on the Buddhist Zen symbol called an Enso - a circle depicted as open-ended or closed. The Enso represents the interdependence or connectivity of existence.
For my own interpretation, I created a field of dark black with a burst of blue representing chaos. The Enso is painted in metallic gold encircling the chaos.
The frame has a beautiful “live-edge” element from the Adler wood. A little wabi-sabi to go with the overall theme.
